1968-70 San Jose State

San Jose State University

Established in 1857, San Jose State is the oldest public university on the west coast.

I was able to get 30 units of college credits while in the Army at American University extension.  I finished Junior College at West Valley College in Campbell, CA before entering San Jose State, Business School graduating with a degree in Business Management in June 1970.

Thanks to Bob Spacek and Rick Leach, who I worked with at Smith-Blair, I got a Part Time job after school working in Production Scheduling.  

1965-67 U.S. Army

March-June Basic Training and Basic Army Administration Course Ft. Ord, CA

June 1965 - December 1967 Fort Benning, GA  U.S. Army Infantry School

We lived off base in Columbus in
adjoining duplexes

Jim and I worked in class scheduling 
for all U.S. Army Officer courses from
OCS, Basic, Career, Ranger, AIRBORNE
